About the Giants

Originally known as the New York Giants, the franchise moved to San Francisco in 1958 and is one of the longest-established professional baseball teams.  The franchise has won more games than any team in the history of American Baseball as well as any North American Sports team.   They have won 22 National League Pennants and have been in the World Series 19 times which are both records in the National League. They have won the World Series seven times, second only to the St. Louis Cardinals who have won 11.

In recent years, the Giants won the 2010 and 2012 World Series and are hoping to improve on their 76-86 record from 2013.
